According to the New York Post, Douglas' ex-wife had offered to postpone a Manhattan Supreme Court hearing scheduled for Tuesday due to the actor's throat cancer. Douglas recently announced that he will undergo chemotherapy to fight it.
"Michael declined - he wants to get this over with as soon as possible," a source told the Post about the star's reaction to the proposed legal delay.

According to the paper, neither of the two will be present at the hearing. Douglas and Diandra divorced in 2000.
