Michael Wolf joins Slide advisory board
EmptyNEW YORK – Social entertainment company Slide Inc. has added entertainment industry veteran Michael Wolf to its board of advisors.
The former president and COO of MTV Networks and managing partner of the global media and entertainment group at consulting firm McKinsey & Co. has focused on lending his experience to digital media firms as of late.
“Slide has already built an audience of more than 150 million people worldwide through its innovative approach to social entertainment,” said Wolf. “I look forward to serving as an advisor to help drive the significant value Slide brings to content producers, advertisers and consumers.”
Among the company's products are popular applications on Facebook and other social networks, such as SuperPoke!, Top Friends, FunSpace and Slideshow.
Founded in 2005 by PayPal co-founder Max Levchin, San Francisco-based Slide is backed by Mayfield Fund, Blue Run Ventures, Khosla Ventures and Founders Fund.
