Michelle Obama Joins iCarly Star Miranda Cosgrove for 'Random Dancing'

During an appearance at a Virginia School, the First Lady joined the Nickelodeon star for a brief moment of the show's signature dance moves.
During an appearance with iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove, First Lady Michelle Obama broke out her best "random dancing" moves for an auditorium full of Virginia elementary and middle school students.
The First Lady only danced for about a minute, appearing to do a riff on "the Jerk." iCarly co-star Jennette McCurdy gave Mrs. Obama's moves the thumbs up. "I think she showed everybody up in the dance department." Random dancing is a signature bit on the show that where the characters start dancing when an off-screen voice yells, "random dancing."
Cosgrove and Obama were at Hayfield Secondary School in Fairfax County to promote the First Lady's guest appearance on an upcoming episode of the Nickelodeon show. Cosgrove plays Carly, a teen girl who hosts her own web show. Carly's father is an Air Force colonel deployed overseas.
Obama agreed to appear on the show as because daughters Sasha and Malia are fans and because it highlighted her campaign to support and recognize military families. Cosgrove praised her acting skills and said the First Lady " has good comic timing in real life, too."
This isn't the first time Michelle Obama has been caught dancing with students. Last year when visiting Deal Middle School in the District of Columbia, she joined students doing "the Dougie" and "The Running Man." A clip of those moves has been viewed more than 4 million times on YouTube.
Sadly no video exists of Mrs. Obama’s most recent dancing but see her earlier moves here:
