When Miley Cyrus does a takeover, she really takes everything over. In addition to venturing into the New York subway for the first time to busk incognito with Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, the singer had her hands on every aspect of Wednesday night's (June 14) episode, including reworking the late-night show's opening credits, slipping into the Hashtag the Panda costume again, playing a game and performing two songs.

For the subway session, Cyrus was testing a theory that she acquired some mastery of disguise from her Hannah Montana days.

Cyrus channeled her dad with a countrified performance of Dolly Parton's "Jolene." But the dark wig, hat and sunglasses combo didn't fool anyone, and the jig was up. Then she appeared for a performance of her pop standout "Party in the U.S.A."

Cyrus took it all in stride, telling Fallon that she wishes she could dance in the Hashtag suit every night as she sat for an interview while wearing the most Miley outfit imaginable: vintage-looking jeans with an embroidered jean star over her backside and a puffy red gingham crop top.

She also revealed that she's been stoned pretty much every time she was on The Tonight Show in the past and that she recently gave up smoking pot because she really wants to be clear-headed and present when talking about her upcoming album.
