A+E Networks' Nancy Dubuc, British actress Emily Mortimer and Abu Dhabi's Noura al Kaabi join THR East Coast TV editor Marisa Guthrie in Cannes for the Oct. 7 session, held in partnership with A+E Networks' Lifetime and The Hollywood Reporter.

The female executives on MIPCOM's second annual Women in Global Entertainment Power Lunch panel are at the center of seismic trends transforming the international TV business.

Disney Media Networks co-chair and Disney ABC Television Group president Anne Sweeney has been a key player in her company's push to become a truly global brand as well as a pioneer in the on-demand revolution.

LIST: The 25 Most Powerful Women in Global TV

The golden age of reality-based drama is represented by A+E Networks president and CEO Nancy Dubuc, whose output has included ratings juggernaut Duck Dynasty. With her new series Doll & Em, British actress Emily Mortimer joins an increasingly large number of top talent taking creative control of their work. And half a world away, Noura Al Kaabi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi government's media initiative twofour54, is at the center of the fast-growing Middle East TV industry.

"I don't know if we even need to include the 'woman' modifier in the title," says THR East Coast TV editor Marisa Guthrie, who will host the Power Lunch panel session. "These are very different people but all very powerful and important in the industry in which they operate."

MIPCOM's Women in Global Entertainment Power Lunch is in partnership with A+E Networks' Lifetime and The Hollywood Reporter. The lunch will take place Oct. 7 at the Majestic Hotel in Cannes.
