The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is debuting a Web site for posting and viewing screeners of Emmy-eligible programs. The site, produced in conjunction with The Hollywood Reporter and parent the Nielsen Co., launches May 19 and will provide primetime competition entrants a platform for voting members of the academy to view their work. The site will be accessible only to voting members. The screeners will remain on the site through Aug. 29. More information: Emmys.tv.

DISCOPRO sets a date

The second edition of the DISCOPRO networking and training program will take place June 17 in Budapest, Hungary, leading to the annual DISCOP East market. The confab will focus on "low-cost" co-production opportunities in Central and Eastern Europe. The keynote session will be presented by Bavaria Film board member Tobias Gerlach.

INDIA GETS A 'MAKEOVER'

The latest incarnation of ABC's reality show "Extreme Makeover" came to life Friday in India via Sony Entertainment Television. Hosted by Mona Singh, "New Beauty, New Life" is produced by Niret Alva, CEO of New Delhi-based Miditech. "Zindagi" will feature 13 episodes tracking a woman undergoing reconstructive surgery, a fitness regimen, diet and styling.

'Fear' Factors

More than a dozen directors have signed up for "Fear Itself," NBC's summer suspense and horror anthology series, including Rupert Wainright. Actors scheduled to appear include Wendell Pierce, Paula Jai Parker, Rachel Miner, Briana Evigan and Jesse Plemons. The series kicks off June 5.
