EmptyBORTH IN FOR 'ORGY'
Michelle Borth of HBO's "Tell Me You Love Me" has signed on for the indie film "A Good Old Fashioned Orgy" for Endgame Entertainment. Borth joins a cast that includes Will Forte, Jason Sudeikis and Leslie Bibb. Shooting begins May 19 in North Carolina. The film centers on eight friends, all heading into their 30s and all on the verge of major life changes, who decide to celebrate their last Labor Day together in the Hamptons. Borth will return to the HBO drama in the fall.
IN THE 'CEREAL' BOWL
Fable Works will produce "Cereal Heroes," a computer-animated feature that will be created at Sparx Animation Studios in Paris and Ho Chi Min City, Vietnam. David Meinstein is writing the screenplay.
MORE IN 'RABBIT' HOLE?
Roger Rabbit creator Gary Wolf might be entitled to more damages in his ongoing case against Disney, a California appeals court ruled. The three-judge panel unanimously found the jury in the case misinterpreted a term used in the controlling contract between Wolf and Disney when deciding damages.
KINGSLEY TO BE NEEDLED
Ben Kingsley will be honored with a 2008 Golden Space Needle award for acting during the Seattle International Film Festival. He will receive the award May 25 before the premiere of "Elegy," an upcoming Samuel Goldwyn release in which he stars. The Seattle fest runs May 22- June 15.
STAMP OF APPROVAL
A new stamp honoring Frank Sinatra goes on sale today on the 10th anniversary of his death. First-day-of-sale ceremonies for the 42 cent stamp will be held today at three locations familiar to the singer-actor: New York, Las Vegas and Hoboken, N.J.
VENICE KUDOS TO OLMI
Italian director Ermanno Olmi will add another Venice honor to his list of awards when the festival presents him with the Golden Lion for lifetime achievement. The 65th Venice Film Festival runs Aug. 27-Sept. 6.
FAST AS LIGHTNING
Jack Black and Gnarls Barkley's Cee-Lo have teamed for a cover of Carl Douglas' 1974 hit "Kung Fu Fighting" for the soundtrack to "Kung Fu Panda." The track hits digital outlets May 27, with the full soundtrack — with score from Hans Zimmer and John Powell — due June 3 via Interscope.

Film festival consultancy Right Angle Studios has launched a production arm, Right Angle Pictures, with fest vet Jon Fitzgerald as CEO. Right Angle aims to "primarily develop properties for emerging filmmakers to produce with independent and studio partners," officials said. Steven Soderbergh and film investor Craig Hagelin are among the venture's investors/advisers.
