'ZOHAN' stylin' at FX

FX has acquired rights to the Adam Sandler feature film "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" from Sony. Sources said the network will pay about 12% of total domestic boxoffice for the film, which had earned $84 million through the weekend after 21/2 weeks in release. The movie opened June 6 with $38.5 million. FX's rights to the movie will kick in in late 2010, and Sony has retained the right to carve out a broadcast window within the network's four-year license term. FX declined comment Tuesday.

BET AWARDS go West

Kanye West and hip-hop group UGK topped the list of BET Award winners Tuesday night, nabbing two apiece. West took home the honors for best male hip-hop artist and best collaboration for "Good Life" featuring T-Pain, while UGK was named best group and won video of the year for "International Player's Anthem (I Choose You)" featuring Outkast. Other winners included Missy Elliott (best female hip-hop artist), Alicia Keys and Chris Brown (female and male R&B artist) and Halle Berry and Denzel Washington (actress and actor).

Cenac joins 'Daily Show'

Wyatt Cenac has joined Comedy Central's "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" as a correspondent. His first field piece is scheduled to air at 11 tonight.

'Password' plus

CBS has ordered six additional episodes of "Million Dollar Password." The game show has averaged 9.5 million viewers and a 2.0 rating/6 share in adults 18-49 so far.
