Kino finds its 'Man'

The latest film to be rescued from the slate of financially troubled ThinkFilm is "Momma's Man," which premiered this year at the Sundance Film Festival. Kino International has acquired U.S. rights to Azazel Jacobs' darkly comic drama about a man who visits his parents on a New York business trip and decides to stay and leave his wife and child behind. An Aug. 22 release in New York and a Sept. 5 release in Los Angeles is planned.
