PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ!

The latest batch of upcoming high-profile Blu-ray Disc releases includes Fox's classic comedy "Young Frankenstein." The 1974 Mel Brooks spoof arrives in stores Oct. 7 with hours of new bonus features, including 25 minutes of extended or deleted scenes, a set-top game and interviews with Brooks and stars Teri Garr and Cloris Leachman.

'CASINO' SPINS AGAIN

MGM is preparing a "Casino Royale Collector's Edition" DVD for an Oct. 21 release. The new DVD of the 1967 James Bond spy satire, starring David Niven as Bond and boasting a cast that includes Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress, Orson Welles and William Holden, is full of new bonus features, including a making-of documentary, a photo gallery and a commentary with James Bond historians Steven Jay Rubin and John Cork.

KINO BOWING 'BEAUFORT'

Indie film supplier Kino International on Sept. 30 will release on DVD "Beaufort," an Israeli war film nominated for a foreign-language Oscar. "Beaufort," coming to DVD fresh from its American theatrical release, tells the true story of the tense final days of an Israeli army unit's withdrawal in 2000 from a strategic fortress in south Lebanon.
