NBC Universal is synergizing "Access Hollywood," hosted by Nancy O'Dell, with female-targeted hub iVillage. IVillage's entertainment section will sport a prominent "Access"-branded module feeding news links that lead back to AccessHollywood.com, as well as host video generated by that site. NBC Uni declined comment on plans for the site, but the module is likely the first step in a strategy that could see "Access" power iVillage's entertainment channel entirely.
I SEE A VIRTUAL DEAL

PROBST IN THE RINGS
The U.S. Olympic Committee said that it will replace Peter Ueberroth with Larry Probst, a longtime exec at Electronic Arts. Probst was elected Thursday to replace Ueberroth as the USOC's chairman of the board and will begin his four-year term next month at the USOC's annual assembly. Ueberroth will stay on with the USOC in a nonvoting capacity, his presence considered essential to the committee's attempt to land the 2016 Summer Olympics in Chicago. The International Olympic Committee vote is set for October 2009.
