Vid game extension

AFTRA has reached an agreement with video game employers to extend its interactive media agreement for one year. The agreement covering performers in video games includes a 3% bump in pay and a 0.5% increase in contributions to AFTRA's health and retirement plans.

FX schedule set

FX said that "Nip/Tuck's" fifth season will begin airing at 10 p.m. Jan. 6, while "Damages" will have its Season 2 premiere at 10 p.m. Jan. 7.

relativity sues

Ryan Kavanaugh's Relativity Media has filed suit in Manhattan federal court against Citigroup over a multimillion- dollar loan it took out to use in co-financing films produced or acquired by Sony. Relativity claims Citigroup has tried to force it to agree to a restructure of the loan, which would be adverse to the production company, causing at least $50 million in damages.

Turner shuts Open Bid

Turner Sports has dropped out of the bidding for its part of golf's British Open after next year's event.

LCD firms guilty

Three Asian electronics firms have agreed to plead guilty and pay $585 million in fines for conspiring to drive up the prices of LCD screens used in TVs, computers and cell phones. LG Display, Sharp and Chunghwa Picture Tubes agreed to cooperate in an antitrust investigation.
