Ray behind 'Daisy' at Food Network

Food Network has partnered with Rachael Ray's production company, Watch Prods., to produce the daytime series "Viva Daisy!" starring PBS personality Daisy Martinez. The series, debuting Jan. 10, will feature Martinez sharing tips for creating quick, simple meals inspired by her love of Latin cuisines.

FLN on 'Cases'

Fine Living Network has announced a new wardrobe-makeover series, "Closet Cases," starring fashion expert Lloyd Boston. The series, which has received a 13-episode order for an April 13 debut, is produced by City Lights TV.

City folks

In honor of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' Hall of Fame induction ceremony, the cities of Los Angeles and Beverly Hills will recognize today as "Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Day." Certificates will be presented during tonight's ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Extra choices

Two additional categories were announced Monday for the 35th annual People's Choice Awards: favorite online sensation and favorite user-generated video. Nominees in the former category are Joss Whedon's "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog," "Dance Battle 2," "Kobe Bryant Attempts Massive Stunt," "Paris Hilton Responds to McCain Ad" and Weezer's "Pork and Beans."
