Ex-NBC Uni moneyman Gets prison sentence

A former treasurer at NBC Universal was sentenced Thursday to a year and one day in prison for his role in a scheme to embezzle more than $1 million. Victor Jung had pleaded guilty this year to three counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy stemming from a scheme to steal from NBC Uni. Another former NBC Uni employee, bookkeeper James Walsh, pleaded guilty to participating in the same scheme and this month was sentenced to 21 months.

Bon Jovi rocks most

Bon Jovi's Lost Highway tour tops the list of the biggest tours for 2008 based on data reported to Billboard Boxscore from Nov. 14, 2007, through Nov. 11. The trek, promoted in North America and Europe by AEG Live, grossed $210.6 million and drew 2,157,675 fans. The overall touring industry grossed $4 billion worldwide, the most ever for a year.

Chrysalis quiet

British music company Chrysalis has terminated all talks related to a possible offer for the company but says it continues to evaluate other opportunities.

Ticketing tie-up

Clear Channel Radio said Thursday that it has struck a deal with MovieTickets.com that will put the service across its network of radio station Web sites, which attracts 14 million unique visitors per month.
