Ex-Hollywood private eye Anthony Pellicano said Tuesday that he won't apologize to the people he snooped on for his rich and famous clients but does take responsibility for the investigative tactics that brought him a 15-year prison sentence. In a phone interview from federal prison with the Associated Press, Pellicano said he wasn't surprised by the sentence he received Monday but said he got careless while spying on the rivals of his clients.
Gibson gets radio slot
Former Fox News Channel host John Gibson will take over Bill O'Reilly's radio show on Fox News Radio beginning Jan. 19. O'Reilly said last week that he would be unable to continue to do "The Radio Factor" because of his television commitments.
Disney in Russia
Disney said Tuesday that it will team with Media-One Holdings to launch a Disney-branded TV channel in Russia next year, if the Russian government approves. The family-oriented programming would be broadcast free on Media-One's 30 stations, and Disney would own 49% of the joint venture.
Fades to black
Equity Music Group, the Nashville-based independent label that launched in 2003 under co-founder and flagship artist Clint Black, is suspending operations.
News Corp. said it is moving its U.S. stock listing from the New York Stock Exchange to the Nasdaq effective Dec. 29.
