NBC has handed out a cast-contingent pilot order to the multicamera comedy "100 Questions for Charlotte Payne," an ensemble about a woman navigating life and dating in New York. Writer Chris Moynihan, Kelly Kulchak and Ron West executive produce for UMS and Tagline.
'Pirro,' 'Wilkos' back
Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution has sold "Judge Jeanine Pirro" to the Fox Television Stations for a fall launch in first-run syndication. The court strip is moving off the CW and has been cleared in 75% of the country. Meanwhile, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's "The Steve Wilkos Show" has been renewed.
Bonnie Hunt will receive the "True Grit" Humanitarian Award on April 18 at the John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary's 24th annual Odyssey Ball at the Beverly Hilton. Before her acting career, Hunt was an oncology nurse.
RHI nabs Sagansky
Jeff Sagansky has joined RHI Entertainment as nonexecutive chairman of the board of directors. Sagansky has been president and CEO of Paxson Communications, programming director at CBS, president of TriStar Entertainment and co-president of Sony Pictures.
Uni sold on Wiley
Universal Studios Hollywood has named Xiomara Wiley senior vp marketing and sales. She had been at Disney for 14 years.
