David Garrett, one of the most familiar faces on the global movie sales and finance scene, is ramping up his global ambitions for Mister Smith Entertainment, his sales and financing joint venture with Germany's Constantin Film with high-profile hires.

A year to the day that Garrett's resignation as Summit International president and co-founder began to circulate the halls at the European Film Market and eight months after launching Mister Smith during Cannes, the executive is gathering well-known industry nems to join his own with offices in Los Angeles, Paris and London.

Garrett will be reunited with Jill Jones who joins as exec vp, marketing and publicity and will be based in Paris and London, reporting directly to Garrett.

Jones, formerly evp marketing and publicity for Lionsgate and prior to that Summit Entertainment, oversaw the international rollout of the Twilight franchise.

She will oversee international marketing operations heading a team that includes new hires of well-known faces Pamela Godwin-Austen as svp, international publicity and Andrew Boyd, svp international marketing, whose primary focus will be the DreamWorks Studios slate distributed by Mister Smith in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Both Godwin-Austen and Boyd will be based in Los Angeles.

In addition, London-based Annasivia Britt will continue to anchor the team in Europe as vp, marketing and publicity.

As part of the new expansion Tracy McCrory, previously a vice president at Miramax and Warner Bros., joins the London office as exec vp of delivery and servicing overseeing all of Mister Smith’s titles, also reporting into to Garrett.

Mister Smith Entertainment’s slate includes the 2013 rollout of the Constantin Film's The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, starring Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell-Bower and Robert Sheehan and Dan Fogelman's directorial debut Imagine, starring Oscar winner Al Pacino opposite Jeremy Renner and Julianne Moore, scheduled to shoot in April this year.

Buyers at this year's EFM are also being touted the romantic comedy Love, Rosie with Collins and Sam Claflin to be directed by Christian Ditter due to start shooting in May and the true story 3,096 Days, based on the autobiography of Natascha Kampusch, the Austrian girl who was held captive for over eight years and whose escape made headlines around the world.

The DreamWorks Studios deal with Mister Smith was inked in September 2012 and includes upcoming  movies including Ken Scott's Delivery Man, starring Vince Vaughn and Chris Pratt.
