'Modern Family' Named Best International TV Show at British Comedy Awards

Modern Family, Graham Norton and Monty Python were among the winners of this year's ‎British Comedy Awards.

Modern Family was honored at the best international TV comedy show. Norton won honors for best comedy entertainment program and best comedy entertainment personality for his talk show The Graham Norton Show, which airs on BBC One in the U.K. and BBC America in the U.S.

Monty Python also won an award. The cult comedy troupe was honored with the British Comedy Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Chris O'Dowd's Moone Boy won the award for best sitcom, while the best comedy film honor went to The Inbetweeners 2.
