Monica Lewinsky to Give TED Talk
Monica Lewinsky is continuing her efforts to speak as a social activist.
Monica Lewinsky will be giving a TED Talk in Vancouver on March 19 as she continues to share her experiences with bullying in the wake of her affair with former President Bill Clinton.
She is scheduled to speak at TED 2015 Truth and Dare, according to the TED website. Her biography on the site says she "advocates for a safer and more compassionate social media environment, drawing from her unique experiences at the epicenter of a media maelstrom in 1998."
Lewinsky has spoken out before about being one of the first targets of "a culture of humiliation" and cyberbullying. She wrote an essay for Vanity Fair and gave a speech at the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit. "Having survived myself, what I want to do now is help other victims of the shame game survive too," she said in her speech.
