The Australian drama from director Matthew Saville is set to screen in Toronto's Contemporary World Cinema section.

A man in the midst of a mid-life crisis gets a telephone call, apparently from his dead mother. That's the premise in A Month of Sundays, the new feature from Australian director Matthew Saville, starring Without a Trace actor Anthony LaPaglia.

In the just-released trailer, La Paglia's character, a downtrodden real estate salesman, gets a call from a wrong number, resulting in an unusual friendship and, perhaps, a new lease on life.

Saville, known for television series including Please Like Me and The Secret Life of Us, most recently directed the feature Felony from a screenplay by multi-hyphenate Joel Edgerton.

A Month of Sundays co-stars Julia Blake, Justine Clarke and John Clarke. It has its world premiere at the Toronto film festival's Contemporary World Cinema section on Sunday, Sept. 13. Organic is handling world sales.
