Following John Galliano's firing from Dior, there has been lots of speculation about who will take his place.
A possible designer named to fill Galliano's shoes is Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci.
According to TheCut.com, shoe designer Brian Atwood tweeted, "So I hear it's confirmed that Tisci is headed to Dior. Possibly with a mutual friend. Wonder when it will be announced."
Although there hasn’t been a confirmation, Atwood -- who holds a high standing in the fashion industry -- would be privy to this information.
This isn’t the first time it has been mentioned that Tisci has landed the highly coveted job. Derek Blasberg of Harper’s Bazaar tweeted last week, "Ricardo Tisci is CONFIRMED at Dior."
