MovieTickets.Com Hires Jeremy Devine as Vice President of Exhibitor and Studio Relations
A former executive at Paramount and Rave Motion Pictures, he will be charged with spearheading new programs and developing client relations.
Jeremy Devine has joined MovieTickets.com as vice president of exhibitor and studio relations. He will be charged with spearheading new programs and will work closely with Greg Sica, who was recently promoted to vice president of business development in developing relationships with the company’s client base, film studios, alternative content providers and third party corporations.
His appointment was announced Monday by MovieTickets.com CEO Joel Cohen, to whom he will report.
A veteran marketing and sales executive, Devine worked at Paramount Pictures in branch sales and management in Chicago, Washington, D.C, Minneapolis and Dallas. After Paramount, he joined Rave Motion Pictures, then a startup exhibition chain, in 2002. As director of marketing and then as vp of marketing and advertising, he oversaw the opening of more than thirty theaters, the establishment of group sales, and the development of other revenue generating programs.
“Jeremy brings an incredibly rich and proven background across film distribution, exhibition and marketing to MovieTickets.com during an exciting growth period,” Cohen said. “Our commitment to innovating and advancing exhibitor and customer experiences is a continued key focus, and Jeremy’s working knowledge of this industry’s needs and opportunities will be incredibly advantageous to us.”
