mPRm taps team of 2 to grow digital
EmptyIn a sign of the times, mPRm Public Relations said Thursday that it is beefing up its digital media and technology division. The agency hired Anthony Sprauve as senior vp DMT and Ema Ostarcevic as a DMT director.
The firm also upped Shari Mesulam to vp film and events to oversee the agency's growing events business and hired Sarah Carragher as general entertainment director and Ariana Nash as film and events director.
In addition, the agency announced a reorganization to meet the rapidly changing needs of the entertainment marketplace under the following new broad practice areas: general entertainment, which houses DVD and TV; DMT, which encompasses emerging media and converging media; and film and events.
"We are happy to have found such talented individuals to help usher the agency through our rapid growth period," co-president Mark Pogachefsky said.
Added co-president Rachel McCallister, "As the market continues to evolve, we feel we are strategically poised for growth from a staffing and structural standpoint and look forward to embracing future opportunities."
Sprauve joins mPRm after working as a senior communications consultant for the Walt Disney Internet Group, where he developed and implemented a comprehensive PR program for Disney Mobile, which launched last year. In his new post, he will manage a staff of nearly 20 and will report to McCallister and Pogachefsky.
