MTV Sets Ke$ha Docu-Series Premiere Date, Reveals Extended Preview (Video)
"Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life" will air Tuesday, April 23, at 11 p.m.
MTV has set a date for the Ke$ha docu-series, Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life, airing Tuesday, April 23, at 11 p.m. ET/PT.
The series follows the 25-year-old singer over the course of two years as she navigates her personal and professional life while moving from relative obscurity to being a multi-platinum recording artist.
The no-limits documentary was shot by Ke$ha's brother, Lagan Sebert, which gives the series unprecedented access into the singer's personal life.

“With this documentary series, I’m revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like," said the "Die Young" singer. "It’s not all glamorous, but it’s all real. I want you to come on a whirlwind journey with an all-access pass to My Crazy Beautiful Life.”
Lagan and filmmaker Steven Greenstreet followed Ke$ha with a small crew, capturing both her public and intimate moments as she strives to meet the expectations set by her initial success with her first album Animal in 2010.
Ke$ha's debut single "TiK ToK" reached the Billboard Hot 100 summit, was the most-played song of 2010 and was the biggest-selling digital track in the world. She has since had six consecutive top-10 hits and three No. 1 singles and has been nominated for four VMA awards and six Billboard awards.

Her sophomore album, Warrior, was released on Nov. 30, 2012, and features "C'Mon" as its second single.
The documentary is the latest in a long partnership between Ke$ha and MTV, which included a 2012 New Year's Eve performance and appearances on MTV Video Music Awards and O Music Awards.
