At 29-years-old, Britney Spears has already been deemed a tribute-worth artist by MTV, who will celebrate the pop star’s acclaimed career during the Aug. 28 Video Music Awards.

After six years of failing to bring home a moonman, Spears nabbed three awards in 2008 for her “Piece of Me” video, and another in 2009 for “Womanizer.” This year, the “Till The World Ends” singer is up for Best Pop Video, Best Choreography in a Video and has already been named as the recipient of the MTV Video Vanguard– or Lifetime Achievement -- Award. The honor has previously been bestowed upon Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bon Jovi, the Beastie Boys and U2, among several others.

Setting an early precident with her buzzworthy videos, including “…Baby One More Time,” “Oops!... I Did it Again” and “Toxic," her recent projects continue to perform well on YouTube, generating upwards of 86 million hits for her most viewed clip. Watch her five most popular videos below.
