MTV2 is ramping up its originals with renewals of two favorites and a slew of new projects, including a talk-show pilot.

The sibling network to MTV has renewed improv sketch comedy Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out for season seven and Guy Code, in addition to greenlighting two new series, MTV2's Joking Off and Number 2 News, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

MTV2 is also getting into the talk-show space, ordering a new pilot in the vein of Comedy Central's popular @midnight, Uncommon Sense With Charlamagne starring Guy Code's Charlamagne tha God. The Daily Show and The Colbert Report's Rich Korson has been tapped as showrunner.

"With Wild ‘N Out and Guy Code we created a home where comedians could break through and define the voice of MTV2,” said Chris McCarthy, general manager of MTV2, mtvU and Logo TV. “Now with MTV2’s Joking Off and Number 2 News, we’re cultivating new playgrounds to discover rising talent – and build on the network’s historic ratings."

Wild 'N Out returns for the second half of its current season this winter, with the new season slated to premiere in 2015. Wild 'N Out continues to be MTV2's highest-rated series in network history. Cannon executive produces with Michael Goldman, showrunner  Nile Evans, Candida Boyette-Clemons  and Paul Ricci. NCredible Entertainment produces.

Guy Code, which offers a guy's take on the laws of manhood, will return in 2015 for its new season. Ryan Ling developed the series and serves as executive producer, along with Darin Byrne and Ricci. Andrew Stuckey is director.

MTV2's Joking Off is a series that joins social media and improv comedy. Featuring up-and-coming comedians, the half-hour game show highlights the best of social media and the Internet, and teams must avoid getting "joked off" before one comedian outlasts the rest. Showrunner Michael Canter is executive producer of the Back Roads Entertainment series with Boyette-Clemons, Byrne, Ricci and McCarthy.

Number 2 News is a comedic take on the news, turning Internet news into funny headlines. Kip Madsen and Geoff Bunch are showrunners, while Dara Cook, Byrne and Ricci EP.

MTV2's talk-show, pilot, Uncommon Sense With Charlamagne, curates the "loudest" social media topics of the week. Hosted by Charlamagne tha God, the pilot will feature a panel of comedians and social media-inspired packages. Cook, Byrne and Ricci are EPs along with Korson.
