mtvU, MonsterTRAK reveal 'Opening'

MTV's 24-hour college network mtvU and MonsterTRAK, Monster's emerging workforce division, on Tuesday announced the expansion of their 2-year-old strategic alliance.

The network has ordered 12 new episodes of "The Opening," a series sponsored by MonsterTRAK profiling a day in the life of recent graduates and the chance to apply for similar jobs on mtvU.com. The new episodes will debut in the spring. Also as part of the expanded partnership, the companies will co-host a series of "Ultimate Internship" contests, giving students the chance to intern at concerts, awards shows, mtvU Spring Break '08 events and more.
