"Quinnterviews" features 90-second installments covering topics pertaining to the net's target audience.

MTVu is handing over the reins to college students with a new web series.

Quinnterviews, a series of 90-second shorts featuring college senior Quinn Marcus, is the latest in MTVu's attempt at creating more content targeted at the twentysomething demographic.

Over the course of her final year at Boston's Emerson College, Marcus will put her spin on big moments in a college student's life, such as looking for a roommate and spring break. Additionally, the former college talk-show host will continue to work toward her goal of appearing on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Utilizing the web to expand existing properties or to broaden reach is not a new thing.

ABC Family's buzzy teen soap Pretty Little Liars debuted a new weekly, eight-part web series as a lead-in to its special Halloween episode in October, while others have taken part in standalone Internet shows like Jane Espenson's Husbands, The Guild and a Community-inspired Untitled Web Series About a Time Traveler Who Can Also Travel Through Time.
