Muhammad Ali's Grandson Lands Modeling Contract
Get ready to see more of 17-year-old Biaggio Ali Walsh.
Good looks clearly run in Muhammad Ali's family because his grandson, Biaggio Ali Walsh, has landed a major modeling contract. The son of Rasheda Ali Walsh has signed with Wilhelmina Models, reports TMZ. Pret-a-Reporter has reached out to the modeling agency for comment.
The 17-year-old joins the agency's impressive roster that includes Shawn Mendes, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas. With his chiseled cheeks and brooding stare, he'll have no problem being in front of the camera.
Beyond inheriting his grandfather's good looks, the high school senior is apparently a star athlete on the football field. "I think the similarities with me and my grandfather on the field would be speed," said the younger Walsh in an interview with Bleacher Report last year.
The modeling announcement comes more than week after the 74-year-old boxing legend died of respiratory issues complicated by Parkinson's.
In an Instagram tribute to his grandpa, Walsh wrote, "You are the greatest person to walk the face of the Earth. Your dedication and hard work inspired the entire world. My senior football season is dedicated to you Poppy. You are my idol and it's not often that your idol is also your relative."
We have no doubt the late Ali would have been proud to witness his grandson's latest accomplishment.
