Kermit the Frog is looking sharp for his role in Disney's Muppets Most Wanted, thanks to Brooks Brothers. The American retailer, known for men's ready-to-wear suits, partnered with the film's costume designer, Rahel Afiley, to outfit the Muppets, such as Kermit and his doppelganger Constantine.
Brooks Brothers created more than 200 items -- including the label's bespoke morning suits -- for the male cast, including Kermit's human co-stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Stanley Tucci, among others. This isn't the first time the fashion company has teamed up with Afiley, having designed costumes for The Muppets in 2011.
Kermit, who wore a custom-made Brooks Brothers tux to the 2013 Oscars, was excited to work with the fashion label again, according to a press release. "Like most amphibians, I usually work naked," said Kermit the Frog. "But when I wear clothes, like I do in Muppets Most Wanted, I love these suits. It's very difficult to buy frog sizes off the rack, so Brooks Brothers really came to my rescue."
Muppets Most Wanted opens in theaters Friday.
