EmptyWE TWO QUEENS
Josh Groban set the bar last year as "Noel" broke records for holiday albums and became the best-selling disc of 2007. Now a pair of New Age titans are getting in the game: Sarah Brightman's "A Winter Symphony" arrives Nov. 4, followed a week later by Enya's "And Winter Came."
AND A PAIR OF KINGS
Speaking of gift ideas: Two music legends are being celebrated with lavish boxed sets. The 50th anniversary collector's edition of Miles Davis' landmark album "Kind of Blue" features numerous outtakes along with a new documentary, a 60-page book and more. And "The Soul of Rock and Roll" is a four-disc overview of Roy Orbison's career that includes demos, live cuts and a dozen unreleased tracks. Both sets arrive Tuesday.
Oasis will offer its new album "Dig Out Your Soul" on two separate formats for download purchasers. As well as the full-length album, the band will be releasing a 10-track MP3 version for £5 ($9.26). It will be available from online stores and at Oasisinet.com and will not include the track "Get Off Your High Horse, Lady." The album is due Oct. 6.
