Natalie Portman Gives Birth to Boy

Natalie Portman is a new mom.

The Oscar-winning Black Swan actress welcomed a baby boy with her fiancé, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, People reported. No details were available about the baby's name.

The, couple met on the set of Black Swan, announced their pregnancy and engagement in December, but Portman kept quiet on the sex of the baby. The baby is their first child.

Portman has had a busy year: In addition to winning an Oscar and Golden Globe for her role in Swan, she has appeared in the films Thor, No Strings Attached, Your Highness, Hesher and The Other Woman.

In January, Portman told People that she was going to take a break after the baby was born.

"I'll be out of the public eye," she said, adding that she will figure out any future acting opportunity "as it comes."
