The name of Natalie Portman's baby boy has been revealed, two weeks after the Oscar-winning actress gave birth.
She and her fiancé, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, named their first child Aleph, People reported.
Aleph is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet and also the number 1 in Hebrew.
The couple, who met on the set of Black Swan, announced their pregnancy and engagement in December, but Portman kept quiet on the sex of the baby until he was born.
Portman has had a busy year: In addition to winning an Oscar and Golden Globe for her role in Swan, she has appeared in the films Thor, No Strings Attached, Your Highness, Hesher and The Other Woman.
In January, Portman told People that she was going to take a break after the baby was born.
"I'll be out of the public eye," she said, adding that she will figure out any future acting opportunity "as it comes."
