National Board of Review Sets Date to Announce Year-End Film Awards
The awards themselves will be handed out Jan. 4 at ceremonies hosted by Willie Geist.
The National Board of Review has set Nov. 29 as the date that it will announce its year-end movie honors.
The awards will be presented at the group’s annual gala on Jan. 4 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. Willie Geist will host for the third year in a row.
"The NBR is eagerly anticipating a continued strong year in movies with the exciting roster of films being released between now and the end of the year," NBR president Annie Schulhof said Tuesday in a statement. “We once again look forward to being one of the first groups to announce the best in year-end filmmaking achievements and contributing to 2016’s ever-expanding awards conversation."
