NATPE Theme for 2015: Content Without Borders

The focus will again be on digital, international and reality/non-fiction programming

The theme for the 2015 NATPE/Content First market and conference is “Content Without Borders,” it was announced Tuesday by president and CEO Rod Perth.

“At no time in our industry has there been as much change as we are experiencing today,” Perth said in a statement. “All of us are recalibrating how we monetize content because technology continues to improve access to new platforms.”

“Our business is increasingly interdependent,” added Perth, “and past silos between new and old media are disappearing. One constant remains, which is that fresh ideas and great storytelling from every corner of the globe are at the core of how we use new technology by keeping audiences engaged. Our business truly exists without borders.”

About 5,000 attendees are expected to attend the event which is being held at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach, Florida once again. It will take place one week earlier than in past years, from Tuesday, Jan. 20 through Thursday, Jan. 22 (following the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday). Digital, international and reality programming will all be high on the agenda.

The conference will be comprised of tracks that include Game Changers, Masters of Marketing, Storytellers and the Shaping of Pop Culture.
