The NBC Agency has pinned senior vp stripes on John-David Currey, Larry Hart and Ron Hayes.

Currey is now senior vp on-air promotion, Hart senior vp content production and distribution (a new position) and Hayes senior vp and creative director of special projects for NBC on-air promotion.

Currey, who had been vp drama and reality promotion since 2004, will be responsible for all launch and ongoing promotion of NBC's entertainment programming. He was responsible for the launch and ongoing on-air promotion of "Heroes," "Las Vegas," "The Apprentice" and "Bionic Woman," among others.

Hart, who had been vp electronic publicity production for NBC on-air promotion since 1997, will oversee all electronic media services and lead a new team dedicated to the creation and distribution of NBC Universal content for the expanding "NBC Everywhere" platform that includes video monitors in taxis, gas stations, supermarkets, fitness centers and universities. Hart also will continue to executive produce the "NBC on United" and "NBC Primetime Preview" shows.

Hayes — who was vp and creator director, special projects — will continue to oversee special promotional projects, including original shoots, show launches and presentations and viral videos. He also will provide promotional service across many divisions within NBC Uni. Hayes has been responsible for many promos and presentations since joining NBC in 1990, including some of its "Must See TV" campaigns.

All three report to Jim Vescera, executive vp on-air advertising, West Coast.

"John-David, Larry and Ron each has the proven experience and ability to maximize our efforts in their respective areas," Vescera said.

In addition, USA Network executive Lorenzo de Guttadauro has joined the NBC Agency in the new position of vp brand strategy, Sylvia Hart has been promoted to vp marketing initiatives for NBC promotion and Dave Dore has been upped to vp special projects. De Guttadauro will report to Vescera, Hart will report to Currey, and Dore will report to Hayes.

"All of these great people have proven themselves to be multiskilled leaders with initiative and have been an integral part of our success," said John Miller, chief marketing officer at NBC Universal Television Group and president of the NBC Agency.
