NBC Uni TV adjusts exec ranks
EmptyNBC Universal Television has restructured its business affairs unit, expanding responsibilities for executive vps Rick Olshansky and Beth Roberts and pinning senior vp stripes on veterans Jeremy Adell, Craig Kurland and Masami Yamamoto.
The moves follow the recent ascent of Marc Graboff to president of NBC Universal Television, West Coast. With his expanded portfolio, Graboff will not be as hands-on overseeing the company's business affairs with Olshansky and Roberts stepping in. Both will continue to report to Graboff.
"This new business affairs structure now reflects how closely each of our business units operate," Graboff said.
Olshansky, previously executive vp business affairs at NBC Universal Television Studio, will add oversight of NBC as executive vp NBC Universal network and studio business affairs.
Roberts, previously executive vp business affairs for the company's broadcast and cable properties, will become executive vp NBC Universal Cable entertainment business affairs, digital and new business development, focusing on NBC Uni's growing slate of cable networks as well as on the burgeoning areas of brand integration and digital content.
Adell and Kurland, previously vps business affairs for NBC Universal Television Studio, and Yamamoto, previously vp business affairs at NBC Entertainment, have all been named senior vp business affairs at NBC Universal Television. They will oversee business affairs for network and studio programs.
