Nellie Stevens-Reed to Oversee TV for Channing Tatum's Banner
She joins Free Association from David Goyer's company
Free Association, Channing Tatum's production company, has tapped Nellie Stevens-Reed to oversee its TV department.
Free Association is overseen by Tatum and former Management 360 manager and partner Peter Kiernan as well as Reid Carolin.
Stevens-Reed will serve as a vp and oversee television for the rapidly growing company that has a first-look deal at Media Rights Capital (Netflix's House of Cards). She comes to Free Association from David Goyer's Phantom Four Films, where she was head of development and oversaw TV and film. She helped launch both NBC's Hellblazer adaptation Constantine as well as Starz's DaVinci’s Demons, and set up film projects including Sandman, SomaCell, The Breach and more.
Free Association already has projects in development at MRC and recently filmed an unscripted pilot at A&E and has an animated pilot in the works at Comedy Central.
"I have long admired the taste and work ethic of these talented gentlemen. I am thrilled to join their team and work with them to find unique and imaginative content in the television space," Stevens-Reed said.
Stevens-Reed is repped by law firm Lichter Grossman; Free Association is with UTA, Management 360 and Hansen Jacobson.
