The streaming video giant launched in six European countries in mid-September

Since its mid-September launch in six European markets, Netflix has already managed to reach more than 100,000 subscribers in France, Le Figaro reported Wednesday.

A Netflix spokesman declined to comment on the report.

The online streaming giant brought its service to France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg in mid-September. It has grown its international subscriber base, but has typically not broken out its users by country.
