New 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Footage Revealed in First TV Spot
New scenes featuring Daisy Ridley and Harrison Ford, along with a new voice, are introduced in the first official TV spot for the film.
New Star Wars: The Force Awakens footage continues to arrive in anticipation of the film's Dec. 18 release. After an international trailer dropped on Friday, a new TV spot features additional footage of Daisy Ridley and Harrison Ford's characters and even reveals the female voice of a new character.
The 30-second clip features many of the scenes already released in previous trailers, but focuses on the nostalgia of the franchise, comparing Ford's Han Solo to the heroic Rey, played by Ridley. A female voice that sounds quite similar to that of Lupita Nyong'o (who has a role in the film), narrates the clip, saying, "I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people."
