Martin Scorsese's 1976 classic is being re-released internationally later this year.

Some four decades after Robert De Niro uttered what would become four of cinema's most iconic words, his career-defining 1976 hit Taxi Driver has been given a brand new poster.

Park Circus, the U.K.-based classic film distributor which represents Martin Scorsese's post-Vietnam drama internationally, unveiled the one-sheet Wednesday, ahead of its 40th anniversary re-release. Theatrical screenings are due to kick off later this month in Austria and Switzerland, followed by more releases across the rest of Europe, plus Latin America and Australia, from September through to the end of the year.

The anniversary reissue will use the 2011 digital restoration of the film carried out by Sony Pictures, following a full 4K workflow from the original camera negative under the guidance of Scorsese and original cinematographer Michael Chapman.

In case anyone forgot how Taxi Driver looked, a new trailer was released earlier this week.
