New 'Water for Elephants' Trailer Debuting Exclusively on Amazon

Going directly to book fans, 20th Century Fox will debut a new trailer for Water for Elephants exclusively on Amazon.com on Thursday.

The trailer will be posted on Amazon at 5 p.m. PST. Simultaneously, a 60-second promo will air on American Idol directing viewers to watch the trailer on Amazon.

It's only the second time that Amazon has featured a full-length movie trailer on its website after Warner Bros.' The Dark Knight.

Starring Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson and Christoph Waltz, Water for Elephants is based on Sara Gruen’s bestselling novel.

Fox releases Water on Elephants on April 22. Frances Lawrence directed from an adapted screenplay by Richard LaGravenese.

Gil Netter, Erwin Stoff and Andrew R. Tennenbaum produced.
