Dr. Seuss is going to have a new book on shelves.

What Pet Should I Get? will be released on July 28 by Random House Children's Books. It is based off of a transcript and sketches recently discovered by the author's widow and secretary. Dr. Seuss, whose real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel, died in 1991.

"While undeniably special, it is not surprising to me that we found this, because Ted always worked on multiple projects and started new things all the time — he was constantly writing and drawing and coming up with ideas for new stories," his widow, Audrey Geisel, said in a statement. "It is especially heartwarming for me, as this year also marks 25 years since the publication of the last book of Ted's career, Oh, the Places You'll Go!"

Dr. Seuss published more than 40 books during his career, many of which have been made into films. His most notable books include Green Eggs and Ham and The Lorax.
