The singer is not meant to fetch water and pastries.

On Thursday (Sept. 14) night's The Late Late Show with James Corden, someone forgot to fill the host's coffee mug. Corden noted the egregious error as he began the show, only to stop the program when he realized that once again his cup was empty.

"What happened to my..." he said, irritated. "This mug's completely empty. Why is my  sorry, I was a bit parched. We'll start again. Can I get some water in here? It's a simple thing, isn't it? The interns here, they basically have one job and they can't even get that right."

You'd think by now, Corden would have trouble catching his audience off-guard while setting up his comedy bits, but the studio erupted in screams when Corden's intern demurely walked out and the audience members realized the poorly performing intern was none other than Nick Jonas.

Jonas, who released new single "Find You" earlier on Thursday, promptly filled Corden's cup and apologized. "I always mess that up, and it won't happen again," he said. "I promise."

"Yeah," replied a still-annoyed Corden. "It is your bad. Can you make sure that doesn't happen again please?"

Jonas, looking buff in a tight T-shirt, then asked if there was anything else he could get Corden, to which the host replied, "Sure, how about a pastry?" So, of course, Jonas pulled one out of his back pocket.

Luckily for the rest of us, Jonas is pulling new music out of his pocket in real life instead of mushy, dust-covered pastries.
