Offerman and wife Megan Mullally re-enact fitness fads over the past 60 years (including the Shake Weight) for the first lady's Let’s Move! initiative.

Nick Offerman is a man dedicated to physical fitness.

To prove that, he, along with wife Megan Mullally, star in Funny or Die's "History of Exercise" video, featuring the actor trying out fitness trends throughout the past 60 years — The Thighmaster, Shake Weight and all.

Offerman, with some help and encouragement from Mullally and first lady Michelle Obama, tests some vintage exercise machines of the 1950s-'60s, the Thighmaster while listening to (and dressed like the video for) Olivia Newton-John's "Physical," an ab roller to a Cher tune and some CrossFit to One Direction.

The video was created with the first lady's Let's Move! initiative to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition. "History of Exercise" will be featured as part of the new #0to60 campaign, a national initiative to encourage physical activity and good nutrition.
