Not Everyone Borrows From Designers: Ask 'Gone Girl's' Missi Pyle
The resourceful, fashion-loving actress found another way to snag the perfect party dress for the Audi pre-Golden Globe bash
While Jessica Chastain and Naomi Watts (with Liev Schreiber) sailed by in all their borrowed finery at the Audi pre-Golden Globe party at Cecconi's on Thursday night, one actress was declaring herself an independent.
"I don't borrow clothes from designers," said Gone Girl's Missi Pyle (who was also in The Artist). "They usually don't fit so well, and you're just stuck with what they decide for you. I have a friend who's a fit model, and she gets all these samples, so I just borrow clothes from her!"
The resourceful actress, wearing a tomato-red chiffon pleated long dress from Burning Torch, added, "It fits perfectly, and there's no big rush to give it back."
