Nova, Sony pact for series, features

LONDON -- Croatian broadcaster Nova TV has inked a multiyear licensing deal for upcoming TV series and library movies with Sony Pictures International, giving the commercial channel rights to such series as "The Tudors," "Damages," "Viva Laughlin" as well as movies including "Men In Black II," "Spider Man 2" and "Charlie's Angels," the companies said Wednesday.

The announcement was made by SPTI senior vp Danny Goldman and Nova TV general director Drazen Mavric.
