'Nowhere Boy' to kick off Nashville fest
Film offers portrait of the young John LennonSam Taylor-Wood's "Nowhere Boy," a portrait of the young John Lennon, will serve as opening night film at the Nashville Film Festival, which runs from Apr. 15-22.
The festival will be held at the Regal Green Hills Cinema.
"What better way to kick off eight days of storytelling, creativity, collaboration and music than with a film celebrating the young life of one of the greatest artists in history of popular music," Sallie Mayne, executive director NaFF, said. "It sets the bar high. We're excited to bring Nashville this film and the hundreds of other outstanding works we'll be announcing next week."
