Numerous 'Hamilton' Fans Pickpocketed While Waiting in Line for Show, N.Y. Police Say
A female suspect is wanted on suspicion of grand larceny.
New York police are searching for a woman who is suspected of pick-pocketing numerous people waiting in line for the Broadway smash Hamilton.
The department released video of the suspect on Monday in hopes of tracking her down. The latest incident happened earlier this month outside the Richard Rodgers Theatre at 226 W. 46th St. in Manhattan, police said.
According to CBS New York, the suspect has been pick-pocketing victims since May, lifting wallets from six people and racking up thousands on the stolen credit cards.
The thefts usually happened while fans were trying to get autographs from performers near the outside of the building following a performance, according to the news station.
The suspect is wanted on the suspicion of grand larceny, police said.
