'Office Christmas Party' Rounds Out Cast
Newcomers Vanessa Bayer and Sam Richardson are joining Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston in the workplace comedy.
The office just got a little more crowded.
Dreamworks workplace comedy Office Christmas Party has added Veep's Sam Richardson and SNL player Vanessa Bayer. Also joining the cast is The People V. O.J. Simpson standout Courtney B. Vance.
They are joining an already stacked cast that includes Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, Randall Park, Olivia Munn, Kate McKinnon and T.J. Miller.
Office Christmas Party centers on a hard-partying guy whose CEO/ sister is trying to close his branch. In an attempt to rally his co-workers and save their jobs, he and his chief technical officer host an epic office Christmas party in an effort to impress a potential client.
Blades of Glory's Josh Gordon and Will Speck will direct the film that just started principal photography in Atlanta.
Hot in Cleveland writer Laura Solon penned the most recent draft of the script, along with Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, based on an initial idea by Guymon Casady.
Casady and Daniel Rappaport will produce for Entertainment 360, along with Bluegrass Films’ Scott Stuber. Gordon, Speck, Richard Vane and Beau Bauman acting as executive producers.
Office Christmas Party will be released Dec. 9 via Paramount.
Richardson's will be seen in the upcoming films Neighbors 2 and Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates, while Bayer garnered attention with his performance in Amy Schumer's Trainwreck. Vance just appeared in Terminator Genisys and it was recently announced that he will star in Universal's The Mummy reboot.
Richardson is repped by UTA, Principato-Young and Jackoway Tyerman. Bayer is repped by WME, Rise and Jackoway Tyerman. Vance is repped by Gersh, Lighthouse and Fox Rothschild.
